Covid-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2.  Bio-Oxygen® Chem Decon kills similar viruses and therefore can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Feline calicivirus on hard, non-porous surfaces. Refer to the CDC website at cdc.gov for additional information.

Bio-Oxygen® Chem Decon has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to Marburg virus on hard nonporous surfaces. Therefore, this product can be used against Marburg virus when used in accordance with the directions for use against Norovirus on hard nonporous surfaces. PREPARATION DIRECTIONS: BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON is a binary (two-part) system. PART A is a surfactant formulation; PART B is a hydrogen peroxide-based formulation. Thoroughly mix EQUAL VOLUMES of PART A and PART B. Apply the solution as a spray onto surfaces as directed below.

TO CLEAN: Thoroughly mix the EQUAL VOLUMES of PART A and PART B. Prior to use on surfaces, remove visible soil, spray the mixture (PART A and PART B) onto the surface and allow it to penetrate (about 2 minutes), and then clean thoroughly.

FOR STAIN REMOVAL: Thoroughly mix EQUAL VOLUMES of PART A and PART B. Spray liberally to coat surfaces and allow them to remain wet for 30 minutes. Scrub the surface with a sponge to remove stains. Rinse the treated area with water.

ALLERGENǂ REMOVAL: to clean and reduce specified allergensǂ: Thoroughly mix EQUAL VOLUMES of PART A and PART B.  Spray and wipe excess. Allow it to air dry. If streaking is observed, wipe with a clean, damp cloth.

CARPET CLEANING: This product can be used to clean and deodorize carpets in industrial, institutional, commercial, and residential areas. For use on wet-cleanable synthetic fibers. Do not use it on wool. Test fabric for color fastness. Do not mix this product with other cleaning products. Vacuum the carpet thoroughly prior to cleaning. Thoroughly mix the EQUAL VOLUMES of PART A and PART B and apply them to the carpet by spray or by following the cleaning procedures specified by the manufacturer of the cleaning equipment. Do not overwet. After using this product set the carpet pile and protect the carpet from furniture legs and bases while drying.

DISINFECTION / VIRUCIDAL^ / FUNGICIDAL DIRECTIONS: Pre-clean visibly soiled areas. To disinfect hard, nonporous surfaces, apply the mixture until thoroughly wet and allow it to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. The product will not leave grit.

MOLD REMOVAL: This product kills mold on hard non-porous surfaces. Pre-clean visibly soiled areas, then spray and wet surfaces with the prepared product mixture. The surface must remain wet for at least 10 minutes. Allow the surface to completely dry. Reapply as necessary.

FOR VEHICLE DISINFECTION / VIRUCIDE^: Surfaces should be visibly clean prior to disinfection. To clean and disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces on vehicles including mats, crates, cabs, and wheels, apply a prepared use-solution to hard, non-porous surfaces on vehicles until thoroughly wet. Treated surfaces must remain visibly wet for 10 minutes.

DEODORIZING: BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON is an effective deodorizer when applied to areas affected with odors. Always check fabric surfaces for colorfastness when applying BIO-OXYGEN CHEM DECON. Remove visible soil. To eliminate odors, mix equal parts of BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART A and BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART B and apply to surfaces until they appear wet. Allow product to air dry.

FOR USE AS A DEODORIZER AFTER SEWER BACKUP & RIVER FLOODING: To use as a deodorizer, properly mix BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART A and BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART B according to mixing instructions. Remove visible soil along with nonsalvageable materials. Saturate all affected areas with a mechanical spray device, hand pump, coarse spray, or trigger spray device before and after cleaning and extraction. Spray 6 – 8 inches from the surface. Do not breathe spray. Use proper ventilation.

WATER AND SMOKE DAMAGE RESTORATION: Effective against odor caused by smoke and water damage. This product is particularly suitable for use in water damage restoration. Mix BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART A and BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART B according to mixing instructions. Remove visible soil along with non-salvageable materials. Saturate all affected areas with a mechanical spray device, hand pump, coarse spray, or trigger spray device before and after cleaning and extraction. Spray 6 – 8 inches from the surface and allow surface to remain visible wet for at least 10 minutes. Do not breathe spray. Use proper ventilation.

FOR USE AS A DEODORIZER FOR HVAC SYSTEMS DUCTWORK: Properly mix BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART A and BIO-OXYGEN® CHEM DECON PART B according to mixing instructions. Apply the mixture and let air dry to eliminate odors. When fogging to eliminate odors, apply 1 quart per 2000 cubic feet following fogger manufacturer’s directions for use. If fogging, remove all people and animals from the area. Applicators must vacate area immediately following initiation of the fogging apparatus.

SWIMMING POOL APPLICATIONS: When used as directed, this product may be used as an algaecide to treat walls of swimming pools.

ALGAECIDE USE: After draining or before filling pool, spray, and scrub walls with product. Allow to remain on surface for 30 minutes prior to rinsing.
